Being back from Europe has been a whirlwind. We have gone to Utah, California, back to Utah, Vegas, New Orleans, back to California, Vegas once again and are now settled in Orange County for 10 WHOLE DAYS! I wouldn't have changed how we spent these past few weeks because we have been able to see both sides of the family but man, I am so excited to be stationery. I'm already planning movie dates, gatherings with friends that I've abandoned, beach trips, walks with my mama, a long over-due haircut, yoga, ballet (possibly) and way too much frozen yogurt. I can't remember the last time we were in a single city for this long so we are going to make this count…or we are just going to lay around while Wing writes music and I think of ways to distract him. Either way, it'll be splendid.
As you may have noticed, I have taken quite the vacation from the blog since returning to the motherland. I'm still new at this thing so I haven't got my writing rhythm figured out but after such a hectic couple months it has been nice to go dark for a little while. Here's what you missed:

^^Hello Gorgeous.

^^I took the photo on the right. No biggie;)
The band had a private show in Las Vegas a few days ago and without my knowledge, my sweet husband did some research and found out Fleetwood Mac had a show the next night. I should mention, Fleetwood Mac so happens to be one of my all-time favorite bands. I've been Stevie Nicks for Halloween, so yeah, it's pretty serious. Through some swift maneuvering, their manager was able to get us in even though it was a private show. I'm not sure how but by the end of the show, we made it side stage inside of the sound booth. In about three long strides I could have clawed my way up to touch Stevie Nicks, but I didn't feel like getting tackled. Plus, Shaq was in the audience and I didn't want to embarrass myself in front of the starring actor of Kazaam.
The show was phenomenal! I'm so lucky to have such a thoughtful and generous husband. Ben, Wing and Platz had to do a bunch of red carpet and schmoozing to get us in and I'm grateful for their sacrifice. We danced and danced and sang our lungs out and danced. A night never to be forgotten.
