^^Last day in Studio before the boys hit the road and I came home
to California (13 days ago)
I am now 35 weeks pregnant. I have been telling everyone for the last 24 hours that I am 9 months pregnant but I just looked it up and it turns out, that is not true until next week. My bad.
I had what I think was my last ultrasound a couple days ago and they guesstimated that peanut weighed 5 pounds 7 ounces. This information could be close to accurate; however, many times it is far off but I am going to go with it because it is all I have. The ultrasound tech didn't give me much to go off of but from what I can project, if the baby (generally) grows a half a pound a week and if I go to full term, this is going to be no teeny tot. I mean all newborns are teeny but there is a chance he'll be on the heavier side... He may have taken a looooonnnnggg time to show but look at him making up for lost time. Way to be Peanut. Way to be.
Look at me making all these guesses based on ZERO research/knowledge and the fact that the 6 foot tall pregnant yoga mama behind the Lululemon counter widened her eyes when I said what the doc estimates my baby weighs at 35 weeks (she is due in 2 weeks and looks like she could do 103 sunrise salutations right there in the store).
Another way I pretend we have any knowledge of this Peanut is by playing the game, who will he look like. Wing and I play a lot. On the day of the Billboard Awards we sat outside on the curb in between the band's stage run through and red carpet and took little quizzes on our phones (it was awkward because we had a body guard lady who followed us out there and watched from afar). Will he have Wing's blue eyes or my green? Brunette or blonde? That is pretty much the extent of the quiz and they were pretty lame and inconclusive but when you are waiting 10 months to meet someone it's hard not to speculate and then go "Awwwwe" when you see the results. But the truth is, we don't care. I just hope I have made a nice home for him all these months and that he is healthy in there.
^^And there is his adorable (left?) foot.
I am surprised they got a picture because he was kicking like
crazy through the whole procedure.
I get it Peanut, I don't like people in my personal space either.
That's a beautiful photo of the two of you.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your baby :)
