We started out our day waking up at San Diego's party central hot spot, The Hard Rock Hotel. I think people were returning to their rooms as we were leaving ours. My sister and mom drove down from Huntington so we could spend our last day in California together. We will be touring for one month (to the day) and so we are trying to soak in all the family we can!
We started out the day with a search for brunch. We wanted to go to Snooze, an A.M. Eatery but there was a 2 1/2 hour wait so...HARD PASS. Sad we missed out on the culinary adventure though. Instead, we walked down the street to Chocolat for frittatas and crepes. The food was pretty good but the service, not so much.
This is us happy, after our stomachs were full. You don't want to see the before pictures.
Who is the pastiest of them all????
Gelato for Four
We took the time to participate in the chalk board wall, "Before I die I want to…"
The eraser gnome.

I'm finally a baller!!!
I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!!
After the girls left, Daniel Wayne and I went on a date to Nobu, dare I say, my favorite restaurant. After eating at the one in New York, I've been dying to have it again and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately, we are not spending another night here in the hotel. Back to our lil' bunks on the bus for the drive to Phoenix but it has been lovely.
One last goodbye to our fancy hotel with bedside Evian and boy/girl rock candy. Do they know us or what?
Nighty Nite from us

Love reading your posts :) You guys could try to hit up Snooze when you are in Denver! Get there before 10 and the wait isn't too bad. Sooooo good and always worth the wait - Cheers!
ReplyDeleteThis could be totally creepy (as most blog lurking is) haha.. but my husband grew up with Daniel and played hockey with him (Andrew Young). Anyway, Andrew's been doing a lot of childhood/high school reminiscing lately, and it got me to poking around in business that isn't mine. Long story short, you two are too precious. And San Diego is my home town. Next time you guys are down there, I've got some good "go to" spots. :) Then again most involve burritos and hole in the wall taquerias, haha.
ReplyDeleteYay! An update! :) It was great to read about your time in San Diego and with family, and I loved meeting you after the show. You are a sweetheart! I've got to hear more about Wayne's beautiful new golden toys, can you post about that?
